Today Spadester.com made the long waited for changes in its software to go with the flow of the spades community.

The world's number one spades software provider has asked his players what it is they want to change and which rules they would like to have to be applied in the games. Since the spades players wanted the rules to be changed that Spades could be broken this is what was done. After the Spades have been broken one can now also lead a Spade.

The following message is what Spadester.com sent out in its announcement email:

Breaking Spades is Here!

We are happy to announce that after a survey we have conducted with out testers group, and after hearing what you had to say about this topic in our forums, we have updated the BREAKING SPADES rules to our Spades flavour.

From now on, if you do not have a suit of the leading card, you are able to play spade!

You are also able to LEAD SPADES now, once spades are broken, until the end of the Round.

We would like to thank all our players who took place in this survey and we hope you will find this update helpful.
